Who we are
Labcanvas is a scientific design platform built for researchers, educators, and science communicators who need accurate, publication-ready visuals. We combine illustration, 3D generation, molecular tools, and charting in one browser-based workspace.
Our story
Labcanvas grew out of Scidart Academy’s work teaching scientific communication and figure design. Teams kept rebuilding the same workflows across generic design tools, chemistry sketchers, and 3D software—so we built a focused platform for lab and materials research visuals.
What we do
We help you create journal figures, posters, slides, and grant graphics with layered 2D editing, procedural 3D generators, protein and molecule tools, optics schematics, and data charts—plus SVG and PNG export for manuscripts and presentations.
Trust and credibility
Labcanvas is developed with input from practicing scientists. We prioritize reproducible exports, accessible color workflows, and clear documentation so your figures meet publisher and collaborator expectations.
